Chad Gullion

Pastor Chad was called as the third Lead Pastor in Living Hope’s history in December of 2008. After serving as a police officer for almost four years, Chad entered the Gospel Ministry. For 11 years, he served the Lord as an Associate and Youth Pastor. Chad has an earned MDiv from the Louisiana Baptist Theological Seminary and a MAR in Church Ministries from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminiary. Pastor Chad and his wife, Bethany, have two children, Kara and Seth.

Beverly Abbott

Beverly Abbott has served faithfully at Living Hope as the Director of the Weekday Preschool since 1997. Beverly also serves at Living Hope in other capacities including the Sunday children’s ministry program and the Wednesday evening Awana program. She has a passion to reach children with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Beverly and her husband, Ken, have three daughters and two grandchildren.

Kevin Goldbach

Kevin Goldbach joined Living Hope in September of 2013. Kevin has an earned Bachelor’s degree in music from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Kevin is a talented musician who desires to reach others with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to lead God’s people into authentic worship. Kevin and his wife, Mandy, have two children, Dylan and Jocelyn.

Brad Lavoie

Brad Lavoie joined our team at Living Hope in September of 2013. Brad is a graduate of Bluefield College and he also has an earned MDiv from the Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Brad has a passion to reach students in our community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Brad and his wife, Jenna, have two children, Cora Beth and Carter.

Shelli Dimmer

Shelli Dimmer joined our team in August of 2010 as our part-time Financial Secretary. Shelli earned a bachelor degree in Business Administration from UNCC. She has two daughters, Morgan and Kayla.

Missy Scruggs

Missy joined our team as the Children’s Director in May of 2016. Missy is a native of Charlotte and she has an earned Bachelor’s degree from Appalachian State University in Secondary Education. Missy has a desire to serve alongside families to share the Gospel and equip their children to grow in their relationship with Jesus. Missy and her husband, Trent, have three children- Jacob, Paige and Owen.
